Weather Information
Salt Spring has the mildest climate in British Columbia and
has been dubbed by some as the "Hawaii of Canada".
Some of the most spectacular sunsets can be viewed by sitting
on the deck of the Vesuvius Pub, enjoying a pint, and watching
the sun set behind the near hills of Vancouver Island. We rarely
see snow and we dont require air conditioners.
Temperatures average between 5 degrees centigrade up to 27
degrees centigrade. We receive between 30 and 35 inches of rain
per year, mostly between November and April.
